Negative: Praia Campeche is not near the beach (it's 1.2 kms from it, as indicated), and it's not in Campeche (it's in Morro das Pedras, not near the centre, near a gas-station, and a garage. The description mentions one chambre (room) and one salon (living room), but it's really one room. It's on the ground floor, and quite humid, with corresponding smell. It did not help that we arrived in the rain, but even on sunny days it smelled of humidity. A comparison with other apartments on the island reveals that the price quality is not good at all. We did not meet the landlady, only a neighbor who gave us the keys, and helped us out. She was wonderful!!
