Renovated December 2023 with beautiful kitchen with quartzite counters, dishwasher and new cabinets. Fully equipped for cooking and eating in. Newer appliances, AC units and fans throughout, new bedroom mattresses with memory foam toppers and new bathroom fixtures.
Our condo is located 1/2 hour from the Liberia airport, between bustling Playa del Coco and quiet Ocotal Beach, both within walking distance. Coco is 1.7 miles away, Ocotal is less than 1 mile. Coco offers shopping, dining, nightlife and a large active beach. Ocotal is a beautiful small golden and black sand beach with many water sports available. Other wonderful beaches are yours to explore by car or by hiking. In the area and within a couple of hours drive are more opportunities to enjoy this dramatic landscape and ecological diversity. The province is Guanacaste with two seasons: Golden and Green. Golden brings constant sun and higher temperatures. Green bring rain with regular appearances of the sun.
Villa La Colina is a well-designed, relatively small, low-rise development (2 story max) with buildings on three tiers. Ours is on the upper tier where there are only 12 units. It is the quietest level and offers the best views across the valley to the mountain in front and wild hillside behind. And the spectacular infinity pool is just steps away, other pools in the development are for your use, too.
Our condo has large windows and vaulted ceilings creating a very open space. It is on the second floor and has a private staircase. The living room, dining room and kitchen face the pool and the mountain. The bedrooms are in the back, facing another mountainside, with trees just feet away, no buildings, roads or parking lots. The bedrooms and front door have screens, so the breezes flow through the spaces. Air conditioning is throughout, but for some the breeze and 5 ceiling fans are enough. There is a large balcony, perhaps the best place for coffee and to watch the sun light up the mountain and awaken the valley. Directly to the right of our building is a ranchero with table, chairs and fan for a change of venue or shelter from the sun.
Fully furnished and equipped, the condo is 860 square feet. It has one bedroom with a queen bed and private bath. There is another bedroom and a separate second bathroom. No more than 4 guests and no children under age 12 are permitted.
Two mountain bikes are included. Useful for quick trips to Coco for provisions or a ride on the path along Coco beach or through the barrios.
This condo is regularly visited by owners and it is well equipped and well kept and it is constantly being improved.
