About this space
Dream house located above Praia de São José, a private beach. It has swimming pool, 2 Jacuzzis (h and c), a brick Brazilian BBQ, large living room, a shaded dining area on deck, 4 bedroom suites with A/C. All bedrooms and living-rooms have sea-views. The villa is located in a secure closed condominium, with large areas of Atlantic forest. São José beach is 5 minutes walk, 3 minutes by car; from the house you can hear the waves breaking on beach. Prainha beach is 15 minutes walk, 5 mins by car.
The space
The house is spacious, with 330 m2 built on a 1000m2 lot, with fruit trees in the garden and spectacular views on all sides. There are 160 steps down to São José beach, or 3 minute drive. This beach is an exclusive beach for the condo owners and guests, and for da- use customers of restaurant. The restaurant and facilities on the lawn behind the beach, including swimming pool, are a concession, called the São José Beach Club, where reservations must be made and there is a day-use charge. There is no charge for use of the beach itself, the condominium's shower behind the beach and the grassy area outside of the the Beach Club.
Prainha beach is a 15 minute walk or a 5 minute drive with a 5 minute walk. It is undeveloped, with only a simple beach bar that just serves drinks, and is open to the public via a 45 minute walk from Itacaré, as well as to condo guests. It usually is in lists of 10 most beautiful beaches in Brazil.
Guest access
Entire house and garden is accessible. All beaches and trails in Condomínio São José are accessible. The villa manager does not live on the property. He lives in Itacaré and visits each day to take care of the pool and outside areas, and to attend to any concerns of the guests.
