Summary: Hotel rooms are tough when you have a boy and girl teen so this condo was the perfect solution...and even the kids were impressed! We stayed for 6 nights and were able to spread out and not feel cramped. The condo is very well kept, comfortable beds, bath and beach towels, and a well-stocked kitchen with plenty of dishes, silverware and cookware. Having a dishwasher and washer/dryer was a huge plus. The rooms have black-out shades (the sun is up by 5:30am). It was always very quite at night. The pool area was great and has a ton of natural shade and umbrellas, although the water is very warm. This unit is close to the Pool Shack which has tables or there is someone who will come take orders/deliver to your chairs. The food was OK, but they do make very strong drinks! You can find menus on the Pacifico website.This unit is also near the locked pedestrian gate which has a button for security to let you back in. We rented a car because we were going to another part of Costa Rica later, but you don't need one - there are a couple of markets very close and tons of restaurants on the street just outside the property. Many people walk around at night so it always felt safe. There are a few very nice restaurants just outside the gate if you don't want to go far. There are places to rent golf carts, but they are pricey - 65-75/day or 375-390 for the week, which was more than the car. Overall, I highly recommend this unit and would stay again!
