Positive: There is a lot to like about this pousada. They tried to meet my every need and were very helpful. They even modified the breakfast hour a little to better serve me. During the day, there is a nice tranquil environment. The grounds have beautiful plants and flowers. There is a little pond with a fish and running water. The breakfast was very good. The room was cleaned spotlessly every day. The pool is nice. They helped me with suggestions for transport and things to do.

Negative: The thing I didn't like was the location. It's only a block from the beach - what's not to like, right? The problem is that the little neighborhood around the hotel is flooded by high-school students, brought to Porto Seguro to party. There are big buses running around the little streets, and lots of movement. That's just a nuisance, but the bigger problem is the huge night club/amusement center one block from the hotel. The club plays very, very amplified music until 4:00 each morning. The ear plugs I bought really weren't much help.
