There are opportunities for surfing lessons within Palm Beach Estates at Playa Grande Surf Camp and Acachete Surf, both within a few minutes walk. There are opportunities for beginners and advanced surfers at Playa Grande. Also, Playa Grande is surrounded by the Marino Las Baulas National Park - this park protects and preserves a large variety of tropical wildlife and vegetation along many miles of beach and the large inland estuary. In addition to surfing and turtle adventures, there are many other activities to do if desired. There are several operators in Palm Beach Estates that can arrange for adventure activities like nature walks, zip-lining, ATV, horseback riding, fishing, and so much more!
