The Amara Villas are uniquely situated next to both the Ostional Wildlife Refuge and the Nosara Civic Association’s (NCA) privately protected tropical humid coastal forest. This expansive area of protected nature is a vital habitat for a diverse range of local flora and fauna. Notable species frequently observed within the canopy, on the trails, and in the understory include the Mantled howler monkey (Aloutta palliata), ocelots (Leopardus pardalis), the Turquoise-browed Motmot (Eumomota superciliosa), and the Lance-tailed Manakin (Chiroxiphia lanceolata). Acknowledging its proximity to this natural abundance, the Amara Villas landscaping design is strongly committed to habitat restoration by reintroducing native trees and plants that offer shelter, food, and perching opportunities for local fauna. Furthermore, in an effort to conserve water, we are selecting species that naturally require less irrigation, particularly during the dry season.
The Space:
Villa Corcovado is an 8-bedoom, 8-1/2 bathroom luxury Villa sleeping up to 20 people in 6 king beds and 4 queen beds. Villa Corcovado offers a private pool, outdoor shower, and outdoor grill and indoor / outdoor dining areas. The Villa has a fully-equipped kitchen, air conditioning, and wireless internet.
Guest Access:
Upon arrival, a member of the Amara Villas staff will meet you to provide access to your Villa.
