70 km west of Jyväskylä, Lake Sammionselkä 40 m (length 4.7 km, width 200 m), rather steep shore, hard clay bottom, own boat.
Two-storey cottage made of solid roundlogs 2003, living room/kitchen, sleeping loft 2 beds, hall, downstairs bedroom 2 beds, bedroom 2 beds, room with fireplace (extendible extra double bed). In 2021 built 2 more bedrooms (10 and 12 m², 2 beds in each) and also kitchen and surfaces renovated. Sauna (wood heated stove) and bathroom, open terraces above and below.
Lakeshore sauna, which is only in use between June-September; this has possibility for 4 extra sleeping places for separate fee, in 2021 fee is 150 e (reservation and payment straight to the owner).
Outdoor hot tub by separate fee (fee in 2023: 150 e/day, 190 e/weekend and 250 e/week.
Smoke sauna for a separate fee. Level yard area, from cottage steep slope to shore, steps on way. On shore camp fire place, fish smoking oven and jetty. Upper yard area has a small hut for a dog and fenced area. Dogs NOT permitted in main cottage but permitted in shore cottage.
2 SUP boards available for rent. Life jackets for the rowin g boat.
Horse riding stables Korpi-Jukola 5 km, Poet Einari Vuorela's private home 13 km, Moksunniemen Golf 60 km, Keuruu's "Kamana" tourist centre/museum, etc., and old Elias Lönnrot paddle steamer 10 km. Rod and lure fishing at Virtalankoski rapids 3 km, Palsankoski, Housukoski and Käpykoski rapids 25 km.
